About the Work

When I joined Fast Growing Trees the development team was refactoring legacy WordPress to Shopify and it was an amazing experience learning about plants, their attributes, and the growing zones --I took to collecting plants immediately! I created CSS stylesheet with brand theming and triaged conflicts with legacy classes. At the request of administration and using javascript, I created an inventory report script that would email administration with critically low stock. The script calculated the growth rate of the current inventory and flagged options for replenishment making it especially useful when we experience delays in restock.
